Hebrews 13:18-25 (Hebrews 13:18-25)

Tim Douglass, July 8, 2018
Part of the Letter to the Hebrews series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

We are finally at the end of the Letter to the Hebrews. In traditional letter format of the time the writer concludes with a few personal notes and a benediction, calling for the blessing of God on his readers. Looking at these lines it is easy to see them as a somewhat formulaic conclusion, but there are some very profound thoughts hidden in here. We simply can’t leave without considering who extends the blessing and what the nature of the desired blessing is.
