Hosea (Hosea 11:1-11)

Tim Douglass, July 29, 2018
Part of the Other series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

The book of Hosea is one that has many layers to it and even a quick look at it will reveal a great deal, including a number of truths about prophesy and about God’s love for us. God uses His prophet’s life to demonstrate to the people of Israel how they are treating Him. God says many times that He is a jealous God and the marriage relationship between Hosea and Gomer builds on that idea. When we look at this book we can see how our unfaithfulness to God hurts Him even today.
