Galatians 1:1-5 (Galatians 1:1-5)

Tim Douglass, August 12, 2018
Part of the Galatians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

There is a close relationship between the words “author” and “authority”. When we consider a creation we understand that the creator has a special power and understanding of it. The author of a written piece has that power and understanding, but we also look beyond the actual writer, to see the authority behind him. In his introduction to this letter Paul identifies himself as an apostle. What does that imply with regard to the weight of what he has to say?
