Galatians 1:1-10 (Galatians 1:2-10)

Tim Douglass, August 19, 2018
Part of the Galatians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

We talked about Paul giving his credential as the writer of this letter, but he also makes some significant statements about God in his introduction. It is important that his readers know exactly who he means when he talks about God because there were a lot of people going around and teaching perverted ideas about God and Jesus. The entire purpose of the letter is to make sure that the readers don’t fall victim to those who are misrepresenting God, so Paul is doubly careful to make sure they know the truth.
