Hebrews 2:1-9 (Hebrews 2:1-9)

Tim Douglass, September 18, 2016
Part of the Letter to the Hebrews series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

This week the author of Hebrews returns to his earlier theme of the superiority of Jesus over the angels. Now he is looking at the incarnation of Christ and the change in status that He willingly went through. The argument once more goes back to the Psalms to consider the status of mankind. There is a complex relationship between Jesus as God and Jesus as man that has to be considered so that we can see how His human state is able to stand in our place so that we are saved from sin through His death.
