Hebrews 2:10-18 (Hebrews 2:10-18)

Tim Douglass, September 25, 2016
Part of the Letter to the Hebrews series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Family relationships are complex and sometimes can even be painful, but they are a relationship that cannot be dissolved by human action. You may disown you family or otherwise totally reject them, but the biological connection remains. For most of us it is a relationship that matters more than any others on earth. It is not an accident that the relationship between Jesus and mankind is described using the metaphor of family relationship. We are Jesus’ brethren, God is our Father, the relationships are ones that we can’t break. The strength of that relationship is an important part of why God loves us enough to die for us.
