As believers we live in a state of conflict between our natural mind and impulse and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The fighting of these two natures gives us the great challenge of Christian life. We can’t just follow a list of commands that make up the law and we have to listen to the leading of the Spirit to know what is right. The things we face aren’t really all that hard to sort out, the sins we fight against are obvious, and we have to constantly be on our guard against them.
