The last item in Paul’s “Fruit of the Spirit” list is self-control. This is a particularly interesting item to include here, since the concept is one that is more strongly identified with the pagan philosophies of the Greek schools of thought. We do have to consider, however, that we do bear responsibility for our actions and that God desires that we are not irresponsibly following our passions.
