Things Paul knows about the Thessalonians: They are loved – by him or by God or by both. They are elect of God – which opens up a whole world of discussion. Things Paul knows about his message: It was preached in words. It was demonstrated in power. It was confirmed by the Holy Spirit and by Paul’s life and actions. What do we need to learn from these things?
