1 Thessalonians 1:1-10 (1 Thessalonians 1:1-10)

Tim Douglass, August 18, 2019
Part of the 1 Thessalonians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

If election is the work of God, then it stands to reason that the hearing of the Gospel is also in some way God’s work. Certainly Paul felt that His ministry in Thessalonica was driven by divine power. He clearly understands that it is not he alone who is bringing people to the Lord, but that he is a channel for the Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of the people he is ministering to.
