Paul’s discussion of sanctification begins with some rather specific issues around sexual sin. If sanctification is the process of becoming pure, righteous, holy, and sinless then it seems a reasonable place to start. Throughout history these have been the sins that have time after time gotten even good people in trouble and in the culture surrounding the Thessalonian church they are an even bigger problem.
