Hebrews 2:17-3:6 (Hebrews 2:17-3:6)

Tim Douglass, October 9, 2016
Part of the Letter to the Hebrews series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

There are a lot of “therefores” in this part of Hebrews. We are really most interested right now in the one that starts Chapter 3, but it is one in a series that make up the argument for Christ. This introduces a fresh aspect of the superiority of Jesus, and that is His superiority to Moses, the man who was seen by the Jews as one of the greatest prophets and man of God who ever lived. The writer has shown Jesus to be above the angels, now we are going to consider how He compares to this great hero of the faith.
