Appearances of the Risen Lord (Luke 24:13-32)
Tim Douglass, April 19, 2020Part of the Other series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
After the resurrection Jesus appeared to a number of people, some of them were seemingly supernatural appearances while others seems to have been more “normal”. One thing that they all have in common is that they were living testimony to the reality of the resurrection. Those testimonies were sufficient in number and variety to make it virtually impossible for anyone to claim it didn’t happen, there were just too many witnesses. But beyond that basic testimony many of the appearances had other significance. I want to look at some of those reasons today.
