1 Corinthians 1:26-2:5 (1 Corinthians 1:26-2:5)

Tim Douglass, June 7, 2020
Part of the 1 Corinthians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Who does God call, and how, and why? Paul begins this section by raising a fundamental question about the criteria by which God calls us. What makes sense to us in an earthly context has no particular relevance in God’s eyes. In order to understand the full extent of God’s grace (and maybe why some reject it) we need to think about what God values as opposed to what we value.
