Sin is not really the major theme of this part of Hebrews Chapter 3, but we do see it mentioned both in Verse 13 (“deceitfulness of sin”) and Verse 17 (“those who sinned”). Those mentions did get me thinking about the multiple faces of sin and how it is something we all need to be aware of and consider the threat it poses to us as believers. What is particularly important is learning how we, as humans, view sin compared to how God views it.
