1 Corinthians 3:1-15 - Part 2 (1 Corinthians 3:1-15)

Tim Douglass, July 12, 2020
Part of the 1 Corinthians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

The various teachers who were influencing the church at Corinth presented a number of different ideas and philosophies on Christ and following Him to the church. That many of them drew significant followings is not surprising, as people always like to follow the “latest and greatest” thing. Up to a point it’s not even really harmful, as most of the different ideas and focuses weren’t necessarily of major importance. Where it had become a problem to the church in Corinth was in the way that people had idolized their chosen teacher or leader and were using them as the basis of creating conflict and division in the church. We’ve been seeing Paul address this and he continues to do so.
