1 Corinthians 3:16-23 (1 Corinthians 3:16-23)

Tim Douglass, July 26, 2020
Part of the 1 Corinthians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

What does it mean to be wise or to be a fool? Paul uses those expressions in several different ways in order to highlight the profound difference between God’s way of thinking and the human way of thinking. This section here at the end of Chapter 3 is really a restatement of the premise that he had originally introduced in Chapter 1, Verses 18-31. At this point, however, Paul moves more emphatically and directly to apply this to the behavior of the people in Corinth.
