1 Corinthians 7:17-24 (1 Corinthians 7:17-24)

Tim Douglass, January 3, 2021
Part of the 1 Corinthians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

We are resuming our 1 Corinthians series this week, which means we are back into Paul’s discussion of marriage, divorce, and morality. In the middle of this, however, he takes a bit of a sidestep to talk about living in our calling in Christ. It’s not as huge a leap as it seems, since it builds from his discussion on marriage between believers and unbelievers, so it shows us how general principles can be applied in different areas. This also brings us back to some of Paul’s central teaching for the Corinthian church.
