1 Corinthians 9:15-27 - Part 2 (1 Corinthians 9:15-27)

Tim Douglass, April 11, 2021
Part of the 1 Corinthians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

We are returning to our study of 1 Corinthians this week, picking up in the middle of Chapter 9, roughly where we left off before Easter. In the last part of the passage Paul uses some athletic metaphors to make his point. For him doing the Lord’s work is something that requires consistent effort and where he cannot slack off or risk failing. This is all a continuation of how he uses his own life and behavior as an example to the Corinthians of how they need to relate to one another.
