Last week we took a look at the history of the Holy Spirit’s interaction with people throughout Scripture. We talked about how He empowered various people at various times up to Pentecost, when all the believers gathered together experienced the Spirit coming on them. This became somewhat the norm for the Christian church in the first century and so there was a great deal of thinking about the gifts of the Spirit. This week we are going to look more into what those gifts were and how He gave them to people.
