Hebrews 5:5-14 (Hebrews 5:5-14)

Tim Douglass, March 5, 2017
Part of the Letter to the Hebrews series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

While the authorship of Hebrews is hard to establish, this passage is one that always makes me think it is Pauline, just because of the incredibly convoluted run-on sentences here. Of course, that means that we really need to unwind it in order to make sure we fully understand what it says, so we are going to start with verse 5 and work our way down, trying to figure out just how we end up talking about Melchizedek and milk.
