Jesus invited two of John’s disciples to accompany Him back to where He is staying. His connection with people always begins with the call to come to Him, and we need to answer that call in order to get to know Him. John doesn’t go deeply into the calling of the disciples, but each of those he mentions in this section teaches an important lesson about how we come to and follow Jesus.
