Hebrews 5:12-6:3 - Part 2 (Hebrews 5:12-6:3)

Tim Douglass, April 2, 2017
Part of the Letter to the Hebrews series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

To continue with last week’s theme, we are going to look at the next two of the elementary principle of Christ that the writer of Hebrews lists. It might be worth mentioning that this is hardly to be taken as a comprehensive list of the foundational principles of our Christian faith, but six items listed are all important in their own ways. The next two, the “doctrine of baptisms” and “laying on of hands” are very interesting in separate ways, but if we want to get the message the writer had in mind, I think we are once again going to have to go to the Old Testament meaning to find his New Testament intent.
