After spending a couple days with the people of Sychar, Jesus continues on His trip to Galilee. After arriving there He is accosted by a nobleman from Capernaum who needs a miracle. Just like with the Samaritan woman Jesus knows what is needed and knows that there will be a significant effect from what He does. This isn’t merely a healing, it is a much bigger statement.
