Leaving behind those elementary principles we have spent so much time on, we now get to move on to one of the more controversial passages in the letter. There have been entire books written on the meaning of Hebrews 6:4-6, and it does seem to be a difficult statement, but, keeping in mind the context of the letter so far and the things that have been discussed, we can shed at least a little bit of light on the subject.
