Hebrews 9:16-28 (Hebrews 9:16-28)

Tim Douglass, August 6, 2017
Part of the Letter to the Hebrews series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

The role of blood in redemption and forgiveness is a recurring theme throughout Scripture. Explaining and resolving the connection between sin and death and what it takes for us to escape that judgement is the main purpose of Jesus’ coming to earth. The blood of Christ is a superior and perfect sacrifice. More than that, it is an essential sacrifice without which we are utterly without hope.
