Hebrews 10:26-39 (Hebrews 10:26-39)

Tim Douglass, September 17, 2017
Part of the Letter to the Hebrews series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Who is this living God, and what makes Him different? Rejecting Christ leaves us as the recipients of the wrath of God with no mediator and no way to pay our debt. But the writer doesn’t want to leave us with that worrying thought, instead he now reminds his readers that they chose to endure in the past and that the same blessings they looked toward then are still waiting now. We do have a need for endurance, but through faith in Christ we can have what we need.
