Hebrews 1:1-14 (Hebrews 1:1-141)

Tim Douglass, August 14, 2016
Part of the Letter to the Hebrews series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Due to technical difficulties we were unable to record this message.

This first Chapter goes from the brief introduction to a somewhat longer explanation of the superiority of Christ to the angels. It is an abrupt beginning to the message and can leave us a touch bewildered with the plethora of Old Testament references used, but it really serves to emphasize the fact that the Son is in the most exalted position possible and no other being can compete with that position. This week we are going to take a bit closer look at the angels before we dive into the comparison between Jesus and those heavenly messengers.
