Hebrews 1:1-14 - Part 2 (Hebrews 1:1-14)

Tim Douglass, August 21, 2016
Part of the Letter to the Hebrews series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Having thoroughly discussed how angels fit into the big picture, we now can turn our attention to what these things say about Jesus. The writer of Hebrews uses the Old Testament quotes to create a contrast between Jesus and the next highest powers – the angels. Most of the argument is made through implication, but it is a strong presentation of some key characteristics of Jesus. We will look at Jesus as the Son, the King, and the Creator.
