Acts 9:10-19 (Acts 9:10-19)

Tim Douglass, February 11, 2018
Part of the Other series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

We are stepping away from Hebrews for a bit today because we are sending Rick and Stephanie out from Monitor Bible Church as Village Missionaries and this Sunday is something of a commissioning ceremony for them. When God calls people into ministry (or to any type of service for Him) He frequently sets us up with open doors and then leaves us to get to work on it, it’s not generally just all handed to you miraculously. Rick and Stephanie have put in a tremendous amount of hard work and the church has stepped up to help them as they have prepared. We are going to take a look at some of the ways that God prepared the apostle Paul to be a missionary and how other believers helped with that process.
