Update – May 7, 2021

Welcome to Monitor Bible Church in 2021! We are gradually getting back to normal as the year progresses. We have resumed regular Sunday School classes each week at 9:45 and are looking forward to a time when we can resume our social activities. This Sunday the message is from 1 Corinthians 11:2-16. You can find the audio recording of the message under the “Sermons” link above. Recordings are normally posted on Sunday afternoon.

We are glad you are checking us out and would like you to know a bit more about us.

Monitor Bible Church is a small, rural church that is affiliated with Village Missions. Our beliefs are Bible based and essentially conservative. We believe in the Word of God, the divinity of Jesus Christ, salvation by grace through faith in Jesus, His literal death, burial, and resurrection, and His ultimate return. You can find out more about what we believe in our Statement of Faith under the “About MBC” link above.

Our Sunday schedule normally consists of Sunday School at 9:45 AM and Worship Service at 11:00 AM, but during the current Covid-19 restrictions we have modified things a bit.

In accordance with the state face-mask requirements we are asking that everyone please wear a mask and we are trying to maintain proper distancing. It is our goal to do what we can to take care of one another and protect each other’s health.

2021 Scripture Memory Project

For the second half of the year we are going to be working on memorizing all of Isaiah 53. Each month we will be adding 2 verses until we have the whole thing down.

1 Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.

—  Isaiah 53:1–2 (NKJV)
