Paul now makes a shift in his discussion. He has finished with his boasting and is now ready to, once again, assert himself as an apostle with a mission to reach out to them, superior in his effort and calling to those who have challenged him. We need to particularly see how he emphasizes that it is not anything in him that qualifies him, but entirely what God does through him.
