After those initial encounters with Andrew, Simon and the unnamed disciple, we now have Jesus deciding to leave John the Baptist at the Jordan and go up to Galilee. As part of that visit He is going to encounter and call two more of the men who will become part of His core group of 12 disciples. With one of these men Jesus is going to have an interesting conversation that is a great glimpse into the thinking of some of the Jews at the time.
