John now takes us along with Jesus as he travels between Judea and Galilee. This takes Him through the region of Samaria and leads to some interesting encounters. As we look at these we can learn a great deal about how God works with His chosen people and what is the really important part of that relationship.
Before we dive into the meat of the message contained here, let’s look a bit at the circumstances and background of the story. This is one of those places where the more we know about that cultural context the more significant the message is.
