John 4:1-15 - Part 2 (John 4:1-15)
Tim Douglass, December 15, 2024Part of the Gospel of John series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
Last week we started to examine the trip Jesus took between Judea and Galilee traveling through the region of Samaria along the way. This led to a very significant encounter that shows more of the character of Jesus. As we look into it we also need to consider the background and history of the Samaritan people and why there is such animosity between them and the Jews. It is hard to understand the weight of some of the Bible stories involving Samaritans if we don’t know the background.
