Hebrews 13:5-16 Part 2 (Hebrews 13:5-16)

Tim Douglass, June 10, 2018
Part of the Letter to the Hebrews series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

I went to the dentist this week. As they were doing all their stuff to my teeth I kept thinking how much it had changed since I was young. Virtually instant x-rays (anyone remember having to come back a week later), ultrasonic cleaning that doesn’t involve scraping with horrid metal objects, and suction that has replaced “rinse and spit”. Someone once said that the only constant in life is change, and in most human things that is true, but there is one thing that never changes, and that is God. The writer of Hebrews tells us that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” and we want to explore what that means for us.
