Galatians 5:7-18 (Galatians 5:7-18)

Tim Douglass, February 3, 2019
Part of the Galatians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Liberty or licence? One thing that is very appealing about a legalistic approach to religion is that you know what you can and cannot do. The rules are right there in front of you and you just have to know them and do them. Our freedom in Christ is a lot more challenging. There is no “how to be a perfect Christian” checklist that we can work our way down, and that lack of specific rules opens us up to trying to get away with whatever we can – and that’s a problem.
