As we reach the fourth Sunday of Advent we are talking about love. In a lot of ways love is very tightly bound with Christmas, both in the Christmas story itself and in the bigger picture of what it meant for Jesus to come to earth. Love is also a concept that is liberally sprinkled throughout God’s word in many different contexts and with many different implications. Jesus tells us that if we love Him we will keep His commandments, but how do we translate that into our daily lives?
