1 Thessalonians 5:12-28 (1 Thessalonians 5:12-28)

Tim Douglass, January 12, 2020
Part of the 1 Thessalonians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

We are, at this point, into what is sometimes colloquially referred to as the “short rows”. The end of the letter is just ahead and it seems to me that Paul has basically covered what he considered most important and is now just adding some additional thoughts that he feels are useful to them. The most critical part of the letter was the encouragement regarding those believers who had died and the time of the return of the Lord. What follows is more practical advice on how they (and we) are to live until the Lord returns.
