2 Angels - Second Sunday in Advent (Luke 1:26-38)

Tim Douglass, December 6, 2020
Part of the Advent 2020 series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

This Sunday is the Second Sunday in Advent and we are going to be talking about 2 angels today. The first one is one that we know pretty well. He gives us his name and his message is a poetic and powerful part of the Advent story. Gabriel spoke to Zacharias and also to Mary, but he is not the only angel who is concerned with the Christmas narrative. We encounter angels several times as God worked to make sure that the world was informed of the great events taking place.
