Last week we got a pretty good introduction to what Paul was talking about in this section, this week we are going to look at why he was going in this direction and what that means for us. Paul is using himself and his situation to illustrate his point, but we need to look beyond the illustration and see how the message of rejecting selfishness in order to show love is still critical for us today.
