1 Corinthians 15:29-34 (1 Corinthians 15:29-34)

Tim Douglass, January 30, 2022
Part of the 1 Corinthians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

The section of Scripture we are looking at this week starts with one of those verses that tends to generate a lot more discussion than it probably deserves. We are therefore also going to devote more time to it than it deserves! Paul is continuing his different looks at the reality of the resurrection and here he takes a bit of a side-track to talk about a very human aspect of recognizing or rejecting it. We want to be sure that we don’t let ourselves lose faith, because we will also lose purpose. Some in Corinth seem to have fallen into this trap and Paul calls them out on it.
