Isaiah 53 - Introduction (Isaiah 53:1-6)

Tim Douglass, May 15, 2022
Part of the Isaiah 53 series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Last year we spent 6 months as a church working on memorizing Isaiah 53. It’s only 12 verses, but it turned out to be a lot bigger challenge than I thought it would be. One of the comments that came up several times had to do with the fact that it was hard to memorize partly because some of it was hard to understand. That makes sense, so I decided that when I had finished with my 1 Corinthians sermon series I would take a couple weeks to take a quick look at the meaning of this important prophesy about the suffering servant.
