Galatians 5:13-26 - Part 6 (Galatians 5:13-26)

Tim Douglass, March 24, 2019
Part of the Galatians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Getting back to our discussion of the fruit of the Spirit after a bit of a medically induced break. We talked previously about love as the center-pin of all of these and especially about how hard it is to define love in words. God chose to demonstrate His love rather than explain it to us. The willingness of Jesus Christ to take on the burden of our sins and die for them is the greatest picture of love we can ever see. With that as the model for how we should love we have the beginning of a Christ-like life. The Spirit does more than instill in us the seed of that love, He also shapes many other part of our being. From love we move on to look at joy and peace.
