As we continue to work through what Paul had to say about the gifts of the Holy Spirit we are going to look at some of the practical issues he brings up to the church. As we have seen many times before Paul is particularly focused on maintaining or establishing unity in the church. Of first importance is that every believer sees themselves in relation to Christ rather than to one another. In this section Paul is developing the idea of the church as the body of Christ.
