Galatians 2:11-21 Part 2 (Galatians 2:11-21)

Tim Douglass, September 23, 2018
Part of the Galatians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Paul was obviously a man of strong passions. When he felt strongly about something the words just flow from his pen and sometimes we struggle a bit to keep up with the main point. In this section he is setting out his argument as applied to Peter in the situation at Antioch. What begins as what seems to be a simple change in who he is eating with turns into a major inquiry into the very nature of salvation. We are going to begin by breaking down Paul’s argument with Peter and the implications it has for us.
