1 Corinthians 6:12-20 (1 Corinthians 6:12-20)

Tim Douglass, November 1, 2020
Part of the 1 Corinthians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

“I’m free! Free to be me!” We all have a desire to be free to control our own lives and behavior. In Christ we have freedom, but what does that freedom really mean? And how do we live in it without falling into sin? Paul begins this section by stating that everything is permissible for him, but does that really mean that he can do absolutely anything he wants? That certainly isn’t the implication he’s given in this letter so far. We need to look more deeply into this question of freedom and what it means in our lives.
