Hebrews 4:11-16 - Part 4 (Hebrews 4:11-16)

Tim Douglass, February 5, 2017
Part of the Letter to the Hebrews series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

We have spent a lot of time on this one short passage, really only dealing with verses 12 & 13, but I can’t move on without talking about the monster under the bed – judgement. None of us really like to think about being judged, and certainly not being judged by God for what we have done in this life. Unfortunately, Scripture tells us in many places that we are going to have to face judgement, we then struggle with understanding just what the nature and purpose of that judgement is. Hebrews 4:13 tells us there is One “to whom we must give account”, let’s explore what judgement that implies and what we should do about it.
