Mary's Song - Second Sunday in Advent (Luke 1:46-55)

On this second Sunday in Advent we are going to look at Mary’s song. Mary is well known as the mother of Jesus and her response to being told that she has been chosen by God to be the mother of the savior is a strong and moving testimony to faith at work. She had to confront uncertainty and fear and most likely a good measure of persecution and scorn, but her words of praise “My soul magnifies the Lord” stand out as a song of abiding faith.
